• Cyber Forensics Analyst: digital-evidence work spanning mobile, computer, network and cloud forensics, including forensic tools and call-detail analysis.

Post-wise Duties

Technical and analytical roles

As a Cyber Forensics Analyst, Data Analyst or GIS Expert, you will turn devices, datasets or location information into dependable investigative leads. Your work may involve specialist software, evidence handling, quality checks and clear reports that officers can use in an enquiry or prosecution.

Legal, training and outreach roles

As the Legal Officer, you will support research, drafting and coordination around cases. The Training Coordinator and Community Outreach Officer translate the Bureau's work into training programmes and public engagement, with Tamil and English communication important to day-to-day coordination.

Helpline, records and fellowship roles

The Toll Free Operator and Data Entry Operator keep complaints and official records accurate, searchable and confidential. The Green Fellow adds an environmental and sustainability perspective to Bureau programmes and related field work.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The engagement is for one year and may be extended only after an assessment at the end of that period; it does not create a regular government appointment.
