Who Can Apply?

Age Limit

Selection Process

The selection is done purely through a merit list — there is no written exam:

1. Qualifying Marks (50 marks): Based on your percentage of marks in the final year of your qualifying course.
2. Additional Qualification (20 marks): Extra marks if you hold a qualification higher than the minimum required, in a relevant subject.
3. Relevant Experience (30 marks): You get 6 marks per year of relevant experience, up to a maximum of 30 marks.
4. Document Verification: Candidates are called for verification in a 1:3 ratio (three times the number of vacancies) based on the merit list.

Total marks: 100. If you are absent for document verification, you will be declared ineligible and the next eligible candidate on the merit list will get a chance. The final merit and eligibility list will also be published on thanecity.gov.in.
