Who Can Apply?

For Research Scientist (Rs. 72,800/month):

• MBBS or PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Clinical Research, or equivalent from a recognised university
• OR Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Clinical Research, or equivalent with 2 years post-qualification experience in clinical research and epidemiology
• Desired: Familiarity with statistical programming software

For Junior Research Scientist (Rs. 60,000/month):

• Master's degree in Clinical Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Clinical Trials, or equivalent from a recognised university
• Desired: Experience with R statistical programming software and clinical research studies

For Data Scientist (Rs. 50,000/month):

• B.Tech in Computer Science or Data Science
• OR M.Sc. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science from a recognised university
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics with 2 years post-qualification experience in biostatistics or data science work in health data analysis
• Required: Experience in R Computer Programming for data analysis

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years for all three posts
• The walk-in interview date is the crucial date for calculating your age
• Age Relaxation:
• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC candidates: 3 years
• PwBD (UR): 10 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
• Central Government Servants: 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: extent of service rendered in defence forces + 3 years (minimum 6 months attested service)

Salary

• Research Scientist: Rs. 72,800 per month (consolidated)
• Junior Research Scientist: Rs. 60,000 per month (consolidated)
• Data Scientist: Rs. 50,000 per month (consolidated)

These are consolidated monthly payments for project-based positions. No separate allowances are provided.

• Lead and participate in data analysis of clinical research data to address research questions in maternal and child health
• Assist the Principal Investigator and Biostatistician in day-to-day data analysis and scientific writing activities
• Prepare and organise datasets for statistical analysis, and perform exploratory data analysis and data visualisation
• Track progress of assigned studies and monitor regulatory and Ethics Committee submissions and approvals
• Manage data queries, coordinate data cleaning, validation, and modification processes
• Prepare comprehensive research reports including statistical summaries, figures, tables, and clinical interpretations
• Support preparation of research manuscripts, clinical reports, presentations, and project reports
• Develop and maintain documentation for data management processes including data cleaning, merging, and variable creation
