Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is recruiting project staff at its Faridabad campus through a shared walk-in notice. The work spans neonatal microbiome research, microbial pathogenesis, placenta health and pancreatitis. These are short-term project engagements, with different laboratory and data roles across the research teams.

Posts and Disciplines

• Senior Project Associate: Join the Neo-sepsis programme's study of the gastrointestinal microbiome of newborns with or without sepsis, led by Dr. Bhabatosh Das.
• Principal Project Associate: Work on polyphosphate signalling in microbial pathogenesis and host immunity with Dr. Ramandeep Singh.
• Senior Project Associate (Bioanalyst): Support the Placenta Health Project's Adaptive Dose Finding Platform in India with Dr. Nitya Wadhwa.
• Project Associate-I: Join Dr. Nitya Wadhwa's study of systemic inflammation in acute pancreatitis, its functional effects and progression to chronic pancreatitis.

Post-wise Duties

Senior Project Associate

You will work with microbial sequence data to support the neonatal microbiome study. The role centres on bioinformatics analysis and the use of analysis pipelines to make sense of sequencing results.

Principal Project Associate

Your work supports the project's study of microbial pathogenesis and host immunity. The laboratory work described in the notice involves tuberculosis research, cell-sorting experiments and animal studies.

Senior Project Associate (Bioanalyst)

You will help the drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics team produce bioanalytical data from clinical and preclinical samples. The work includes sample preparation, analytical method development, instrument care and accurate study records.

Project Associate-I

You will support clinical data management and project administration, including data entry, reconciliation and database checks. You will also help organise study records, presentation material, project meetings and field-visit support.

• Project tenure: Extensions depend on satisfactory performance and the remaining tenure of the relevant project. These appointments do not provide a claim to regular employment.

You must deposit your mobile phone and valid identity proof at reception for the duration of the recruitment process. They will be returned after the process is complete.

• Analyse neonatal microbiome sequencing data for the Senior Project Associate project.
• Support microbial pathogenesis and host-immunity experiments for the Principal Project Associate project.
• Operate and maintain liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry equipment for bioanalysis.
• Prepare biological samples and develop analytical methods for drug and metabolite measurements.
• Keep analytical protocols, reagent inventories and laboratory records accurate.
• Enter, reconcile and check clinical study data for the Project Associate-I team.
• Prepare project updates, presentation materials and study documentation.
• Support project meetings, training sessions and research field visits.
