Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited (SMFCL), a Schedule B Mini-Ratna Category-I public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, is hiring a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for its New Delhi office. SMFCL operates as an RBI-registered non-banking financial company focused on maritime and coastal infrastructure finance, so the role combines public-sector accountability with the security needs of a financial institution.

The appointment is a senior contractual engagement for an experienced retired government or public-sector officer. You would help the corporation protect its information systems while its financing work spans coastal connectivity, logistics, shipbuilding, vessel acquisition, fisheries and allied activities. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract status: The engagement does not create a right to regular or permanent employment with SMFCL.
• Extension: Continuation beyond the initial contract depends on your performance and the corporation's requirement; it is not automatic.
• Termination: Either side may end the engagement by giving one month's notice.
• Leave: The officer follows the SMFCL gazetted-holiday calendar and receives one casual leave for each completed month.
• Joining proof: If selected, you must provide the relieving order and last pay slip from your previous organisation.
• Work readiness: You need a valid email address and phone number, along with your own laptop, mobile phone and internet connection.
• Accuracy of claims: Incorrect information or hidden material facts can cancel your candidature and may end the contract even after joining.
• Jurisdiction: Any court matter connected with the recruitment will fall under New Delhi jurisdiction.
