SCTIMST Research Associate I Recruitment 2026: Overview
Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) is recruiting a Research Associate I for its Biomedical Technology Wing in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. You will join the Department of Biotechnology-funded Centre of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular Devices, identified as project P.8264. This is a project contract within an institute that brings medical care, biomedical technology and public-health research together under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The focus is medical-device development, connecting engineering research with the institute's work on technologies for cardiovascular applications.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial appointment: The engagement starts with a six-month term. An extension may take it up to 13 June 2029, but the notice describes this as likely rather than guaranteed, so you should treat the initial term and a possible extension separately.
- Project setting: Your appointment belongs to the Centre of Excellence project at the Biomedical Technology Wing. The notice identifies a project research engagement, and you should read its terms in that context when considering the opportunity.
