RITES Limited, a Government of India Miniratna Enterprise and multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, has invited applications to engage 3 Individual Consultants on a CV-based assignment for a client project involving major bridges and viaducts. These are contractual consultancy engagements, not regular RITES employment — consultants are not entitled to PF, ESI, or gratuity and the contract can be ended with one month's notice. RITES is looking for candidates with proven experience in RCC and PSC long-span bridge design using software like MIDAS, STAAD, or Sofistik.

Who Can Apply?

For Sr. Design Review Engineer (Category 1):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 6 years total, with at least 4 years of specific experience in modelling, analysis and design of RCC and PSC long-span bridge superstructure on Pile and Well foundations, using MIDAS and/or Sofistik
• Area of Experience: Major river bridges, ROBs, flyovers/underpasses on highway projects

For Sr. Bridge Design Specialist - Viaduct and Other Structures (Category 2):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 7 years total, with at least 5 years of specific experience in modelling, analysis and design of RCC and PSC long-span bridge superstructure and substructure on Pile and Well foundations, using STAAD, MIDAS and/or Sofistik
• Area of Experience: River bridges, grade separators, flyovers/underpasses on highway projects

For Sr. Bridge Design Engineer (Category 3):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 6 years total, with at least 4 years of specific experience (same criteria as Category 1)

Note: Any period of training, internship, teaching, academic fellowship, or Ph.D. research is not counted towards your work experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for all three posts is 60 years, reckoned as on the last date of application (30 August 2026).

Payment for Services

• Sr. Design Review Engineer: Rs. 2,00,000 per month (24 months tentative tenure)
• Sr. Bridge Design Specialist (Viaduct): Rs. 2,25,000 per month (16 months tentative tenure)
• Sr. Bridge Design Engineer: Rs. 2,00,000 per month (12 months tentative tenure)
• No TA/DA is payable for joining the assignment, its completion, or for attending the interview.
• You will not be entitled to PF, ESI, gratuity, or other statutory benefits — this is a consultancy engagement, not regular employment.

Application Fee

• The application fee for all categories of posts is NIL.

Selection Process (Interview Only)

The mode of selection is interview only — there is no written exam.

1. Document Scrutiny/Verification: Your eligibility will be checked against the documents you upload. Tentative dates are 31 August to 1 September 2026.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated on technical skills, subject knowledge, experience, communication, and interpersonal skills. Tentative date is 2 September 2026 (reporting time 10:00 AM).

Interviews may be held in person at the RITES Corporate Office, Shikhar, Plot No. 1, Sector-29, Gurugram, or online via video conferencing.

• Review and validate structural design of RCC and PSC long-span bridges
• Model and analyze bridge superstructure and substructure using MIDAS, STAAD, and Sofistik
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical reports for highway bridge projects
• Check pile and well foundation designs for major river bridges and viaducts
• Coordinate with project teams on ROBs, flyovers, and underpass structures
• Ensure design compliance with relevant IRC and bridge design codes
• Support client review meetings and resolve technical design queries
