Posts and Disciplines

Post-wise Duties

Server Engineer

You will keep the university's servers, virtual machines, storage and network services dependable, troubleshoot faults and support GPU-based or other research computing workloads. The work also includes scripting, system monitoring, backup administration and technical documentation, with availability beyond normal office hours when an incident needs attention.

Full Stack Developer

You will build and improve web applications and RESTful services, working across MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js. You will also manage secure access, debug performance problems, use Git-based workflows and help move applications through container and CI/CD environments.

Computer Lab Engineer

You will support computer laboratories used for teaching and research by installing systems, resolving hardware or software issues and maintaining the local network. Your records should keep equipment, safety checks and support activity clear for faculty, students and the administration.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The initial engagement is for one year and may be renewed yearly, subject to performance and need, up to the maximum period stated by RGNAU.
• No permanent claim: The contract does not give you a right to absorption, regularisation, seniority or promotion in the university.
• Benefits: The consolidated engagement does not include DA, HRA, PF, pension, insurance, gratuity, LTC, medical claims or education allowances.
• Campus housing: Accommodation may be considered only when available and on payment of the applicable licence fee or rent; it ends with the contract.
• Confidentiality: Data and work products created for RGNAU remain with the university, and you must not disclose them without written consent.
• Assessment: Meeting the basic conditions does not guarantee a call, and the selection committee may choose its screening and evaluation method.
• Attendance and fitness: You must attend the scheduled assessment physically and, if selected, provide the prescribed medical-fitness confirmation.
• Jurisdiction: Recruitment disputes fall under courts or tribunals having jurisdiction over Lucknow.
