The Directorate of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies (RD, PRIs and ULBs) is engaging an Assistant Engineer for work under VB-G RAM G at the Block Development Officer's office in Nancowry, Nicobar District. This is a field-focused contractual assignment supporting rural public works such as roads, concrete paths, drains, water-conservation structures and land development. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract tenure: The engagement runs for 11 months and may be extended by mutual consent. It does not create a claim to regular appointment or continued service.

• Leave: You receive two and a half days of leave for each completed month. Leave can accumulate but cannot be encashed.
