Who Can Apply

Qualification

• You must have a Degree or PG Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field from a recognized university or institute.
• You must be able to work in both Hindi and English (bilingual).
• Knowledge of the regional language of the posting location is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in journalism or a relevant field.
• Experience is calculated as on 16 February 2026.

Age Limit

• You must be below 45 years of age as on 16 February 2026.

Salary

The monthly salary is negotiable between Rs. 80,000 and Rs. 1,25,000 (consolidated). Please note that no TA/DA or pension benefits are provided, as this is a contractual position.

Selection Process

Prasar Bharati will select candidates through the following stages:

1. Shortlisting based on applications and documents submitted
2. Written test and/or interview (at Prasar Bharati's discretion)
3. Document verification
