OUAT Guest Faculty Community Science Recruitment 2026: Overview
Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) is engaging Guest Faculty at its College of Community Science in Bhubaneswar. This temporary teaching engagement covers different subjects within Home Science and Community Science. The notice is for guest appointments for the academic session, with a clear distinction between joining this panel and getting a regular university post.

Service Conditions and Caveats
- Engagement period: The appointment is for the academic year 2026-27. The university can end the engagement before the academic year finishes.
- Regular appointment: Taking up this assignment does not give you a claim to a regular position under OUAT.
- Leaving the assignment: If you wish to leave, you must give one month's notice before disengagement.
- Panel validity: The empanelment remains valid for one year. Keep this separate from the engagement period when considering the offer.
- Changes to the drive: The college can increase or reduce positions according to its needs and approval from the competent authority. It can also cancel the interview process without giving a reason.
- Travel arrangements: You will need to meet your own travel expenses for attending; OUAT will not pay travel or daily allowance.
- Schedule updates: If the scheduled interview cannot take place, the university says it will announce a new date on its website on the afternoon of the preceding working day. Check the website for updates before travelling.

You need a relevant M.Sc. in Home Science/Community Science from an ICAR-recognized university, with at least 55% marks or CGPA 5.5/10 and a good academic record. The subject must match the position or a related subject specified in the notice.
Attend the walk-in at the Office of the Dean, College of Community Science, OUAT, Bhubaneswar 751003. Bring your bio-data, originals, two sets of self-attested copies, two photographs, the prescribed fee instrument and an employer NOC if applicable.
You are paid Rs. 1,200 per class, subject to a maximum of Rs. 60,000 per month, as applicable. The monthly ceiling is not a fixed guaranteed payment.
You must provide Rs. 500 through a Demand Draft or Banker's Cheque payable to Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar before attending the interview.
