NIT AP Civil Engineer Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT Andhra Pradesh) is hiring Civil Engineers through its Department of Civil Engineering for a Third Party Quality Assurance (TPQA) consultancy assignment. The work supports construction of a green building and other amenities at the Eastern Ghats Regional Centre of the Zoological Survey of India in Amaravati. The sponsoring office is the Executive Engineer, Civil Engineering Division–III, Civil Construction Unit, under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: Your assignment runs for 18 months or until the project finishes. The engagement is linked to the consultancy project.
• Employment status: This appointment gives you no claim to a regular institute post. Housing, medical facilities and other benefits available to regular employees do not apply to this engagement.
• Work allocation: The institute may assign work within or outside its premises depending on project needs. You must follow the institute's applicable rules and regulations during service.
• Travel costs: No travel or daily allowance is payable for attending the interview.
• Background checks: The institute may check your background and supporting records at appointment or during service. False records or concealed information can lead to termination and legal action.
• Recruitment corrections: If an error is found during selection, the institute may change, withdraw or cancel a communication, including after issuing an appointment letter.
• Conduct: Trying to influence the recruitment through political or other contacts will disqualify you. The institute's decision is final if a dispute or ambiguity arises during selection.
