NIPER Guwahati Project Scientist Recruitment 2026: Overview
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Guwahati (NIPER Guwahati) is hiring project scientists for its Technical Resource Hub under the Centre for Evidence-Based Guidelines. The Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, sponsors this project, which brings evidence-based healthcare research into a pharmaceutical education setting.
You would join a contractual project team at an institute under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. The notice brings together scientist grades within the same hub, so you should read the conditions for your chosen grade carefully.

Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial tenure: Your appointment is for one year. An extension depends on your performance and the availability of project funds.

Scientist-III requires 5 years of experience through the postgraduate/Pharm.D route or 2 years after the PhD route; Scientist-II requires 3 years through the postgraduate/Pharm.D route.
