MzSRLM Coordinator and DEO Recruitment 2026: Overview

Mizoram State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MzSRLM) is recruiting Financial Inclusion Coordinators, Livelihoods Coordinators Non-Farm and Data Entry Operators for its Block Mission Management Units. The mission works under Mizoram’s Rural Development & Administration Department, and these contractual roles support community institutions and rural livelihoods. The notice gives preference to applicants from Lunglei, Lawngtlai and Siaha districts.

Posts and Disciplines

• Financial Inclusion Coordinator: This block-level role supports self-help groups and their access to bank credit, alongside monitoring community funds and financial inclusion work.
• Livelihoods Coordinator Non-Farm: This role supports rural enterprises, producer groups and non-farm livelihoods. The work is based around a rural cluster and its villages.
• Data Entry Operator: This role handles mission and community-institution information at the block headquarters. Field work may also be needed.

Post-wise Duties

Financial Inclusion Coordinator

You will guide self-help groups, community workers and federations on financial inclusion activities. You will help groups connect with public sector and cooperative banks, track bank loans and maintain information for the National Rural Livelihoods Mission bank-linkage system.

Livelihoods Coordinator Non-Farm

You will help enterprises and producer groups improve supply chains, production, activities after production and market connections. The role also includes developing community service providers and coordinating plans with government departments and other agencies.

Data Entry Operator

You will enter information into the mission’s management information system and handle data from community institutions. Collecting primary and secondary information and checking it for accuracy are also part of the job, with field work when needed.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial observation: You will first complete a three-month observation period. This gives the mission a period to assess your work before continuing with the engagement.
• Contract term: The job description provides for a one-year contract, with continued engagement linked to your performance. The main advertisement also ties the appointment to a fixed tenure or the life of the scheme.
• Performance review: Your engagement can end during the contract if your performance does not meet the mission's needs. Completing the initial period does not remove this condition.
• Extension: A further contract depends on your performance after the first year. You should not treat an extension as automatic.
• Transfer: The stated unit is your initial posting, but the mission can transfer you anywhere within Mizoram. Keep this condition in mind even when the advertisement names a particular office.
• District preference: The main advertisement gives preference to people from Lunglei, Lawngtlai and Siaha. It describes this as a preference and does not state that applications are restricted to these districts.
• Village stays: Financial Inclusion Coordinators should expect extensive travel and long stays in villages. Non-Farm Coordinators also need to spend extended periods in different villages within their field area.
• Different work settings: Data Entry Operators are stationed at block headquarters, while the coordinator roles have a stronger village-based component. Choose with the actual work setting in mind.
• Recruitment changes: The mission can change or cancel the recruitment without giving a reason. It will not enter into correspondence about the recruitment process.
