MPERC Chairperson Recruitment 2026: Overview
The Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, is seeking a Chairperson for the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC). This senior public appointment is intended for professionals with knowledge and standing in engineering, finance, commerce, economics, law or management.

- Ensure compliance with the Electricity Act, 2003 and related regulations
- Guide policy decisions on power sector reforms in the state
- Represent MPERC in matters before the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity and other forums
- Sign off on Commission orders, regulations and annual reports
