King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow has released an advertisement for 7 contractual positions in its Telemedicine Unit under the project “Building capacity of local institutes for driving quality of care on eSanjeevani”, funded by the Gates Foundation and led by Principal Investigator Dr. Sheetal Verma, Nodal In-Charge of the Telemedicine Unit and Additional Professor, Department of Microbiology. These are project-based roles spanning programme leadership, quality assurance, capacity building, monitoring & evaluation, data management and finance — a good opportunity for public health, data and finance professionals looking to work on a large digital health initiative. All posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project — selected candidates will have no right or claim to a regular appointment at KGMU, as the engagement ends when the project ends.

Who Can Apply?

Team Leader - Telemedicine (1 post, Rs. 52,200/month):

• Master's degree in Public Health, Hospital Administration, Health Management, Digital Health or a related field, plus 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Desirable: Experience implementing Digital Health/Telemedicine/eSanjeevani programmes, developing SOPs and quality assurance mechanisms, and coordinating with government departments and NHM.

Consultant - Quality Assurance (1 post, Rs. 44,000/month):

• Master's degree in Public Health/Hospital Management/Social Sciences/Computer Science, plus 3 years of experience in quality assurance or digital health.
• Desirable: Proficiency in QA methodologies, testing, inspection and auditing, plus experience organizing training and review meetings.

Consultant - Capacity Building (1 post, Rs. 44,000/month):

• Master's degree in Public Health/Hospital Management/Social Sciences/Computer Science, plus 2 years of experience designing capacity-building programmes.
• Desirable: Experience conducting training, workshops and refresher sessions for healthcare professionals, and willingness to travel for training sessions.

Consultant - Monitoring, Evaluation & Research (1 post, Rs. 44,000/month):

• Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or Statistics, plus 3 years of monitoring, evaluation or research experience.
• Desirable: Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, SAS or R, and knowledge of research ethics and regulatory approval processes.

Data Analyst (1 post, Rs. 44,000/month):

• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field, plus 2 years of data analysis or M&E experience in the health domain.
• Desirable: Experience building dashboards and reports, and knowledge of predictive analytics and health information systems.

Data Coordinator (1 post, Rs. 22,000/month):

• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field, plus 2 years of data management or MIS experience, with proficiency in MS Excel.
• Desirable: Experience preparing State and District-level reports and dashboards, and knowledge of data quality and privacy compliance.

Account Officer (1 post, Rs. 22,000/month):

• M.Com/MBA-Finance/CA/CMA or a Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, plus 2 years of accounting or financial management experience.
• Desirable: Experience preparing financial statements, utilization certificates and audit documentation for government or donor-funded projects.

Age Limit

• The age limit for all 7 posts is as per National Health Mission (NHM) guidelines.

Salary

• Team Leader - Telemedicine: Rs. 52,200 per month (fixed).
• Quality Assurance / Capacity Building / M&E Consultants and Data Analyst: Rs. 44,000 per month (fixed).
• Data Coordinator and Account Officer: Rs. 22,000 per month (fixed).

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done through:

1. Shortlisting: Based on qualification and experience in your application.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on 12 September 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Kalam Center, KGMU, Lucknow.
