Kerala PSC is hiring 2 Pharmacist Grade II posts in the Health Services Department for the Alappuzha district. This is a Special Recruitment only for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates of Kerala. The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has published notification Category No. 060/2026 to fill 2 vacancies of Pharmacist Grade II in the Health Services Department, Alappuzha district. This is a Special Recruitment reserved only for Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala State — applications from candidates who are not Scheduled Tribe will be rejected, and no separate rejection notice will be sent to them.

Kerala PSC will prepare a Ranked List for Alappuzha district under this ST Special Recruitment. The list stays valid for a minimum of one year and up to three years, and further ST vacancies reported during that time are also filled from it. If you are an ST candidate with a D.Pharm and valid Kerala Pharmacy Council registration, this is your chance to join a permanent state government health post.

Who Can Apply?

You must meet all of the requirements below.

Community

• Only Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates of Kerala State can apply. Non-ST applications will be rejected.

Educational Qualification

• Pre-Degree / Plus Two / VHSE.
• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
• Registration with the Kerala State Pharmacy Council. You must hold a valid registration certificate through all stages of the selection.

Other Points

• Higher qualifications that already include the prescribed qualification, and qualifications declared equivalent by the Government, are also accepted.
• Apply for the Alappuzha district and record it in your online application.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old.
• Only candidates born between 2 January 1981 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included) can apply.
• Age Relaxation: If qualified candidates are not available within the age limit, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 50 years. In no case will the maximum age exceed 50 years.

Salary

• The pay scale for this post is Rs. 35,600 to Rs. 75,400 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Kerala Government rules.

Selection Process

Selection is done by Kerala PSC on a district (Alappuzha) basis and follows the special reservation rules for Scheduled Tribes:

1. Written / OMR / Online Test (if held): If Kerala PSC conducts a test, you must submit a confirmation through your One Time Registration profile and download your admission ticket. Only candidates who download the admission ticket can attend.
2. Ranked List: A district-wise Ranked List for Alappuzha (ST Special Recruitment) is prepared, valid for a minimum of one year and up to three years.
3. Document Verification: You must produce original documents proving qualification, age, ST community and valid Kerala Pharmacy Council registration when called.

Note: Appointments follow the special reservation rules for Scheduled Tribes under the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958.

5. Select Alappuzha as your district, confirm your ST community details, and add Aadhaar as ID proof.
6. Check all details and submit before the deadline. The application cannot be edited after submission.
