Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The expected engagement is one year. Continued employment depends on the project and its external funding, and the investigator can shorten or extend the engagement.
• Contract status: This project appointment gives you no claim to a regular JIPMER post. Keep this condition in mind when considering the move from another job.
• Joining: The study is already running, so you must be ready to join within one week of receiving the selection notification.
• Travel: You must be willing to visit Delhi two to three times a year and stay for seven to fifteen days on each monitoring visit.
• Interview arrangements: The investigator may hold interviews in person or through videoconferencing. For a remote interview, you must arrange a suitable device with a camera, audio and a reliable internet connection.
• Travel expenses: JIPMER will not pay TA/DA for attending the interview.
• Accuracy: False information or attempts to influence recruitment can lead to rejection. If discovered after joining, these can also end your engagement.
• Project decisions: The principal investigator can change or relax the stated terms. Decisions about this recruitment rest with the project investigator.
