IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in Interview for 43 Posts

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) is hiring 43 Hospitality Monitors on a contractual basis for the West Zone. This is a walk-in interview - you do not need to apply online. Just visit the interview venue with your documents.

The contract is for 2 years, which can be extended up to 3 years based on your performance. You will be posted in the West Zone (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Rajasthan), but you may be transferred anywhere in India as per need.

Who Can Apply?

• You need one of these degrees: B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration from CIHM/SIHM/PIHM, or BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts, or B.Sc. in Hotel Management, or MBA in Tourism & Hotel Management
• Age: 18 to 27 years as on 21 January 2026
• Age relaxation: SC/ST get 5 years, OBC get 3 years, PwBD get 10 years
• Freshers can apply - no experience needed
• Computer knowledge (MS Office) is desirable but not mandatory
• Indian nationality is required

Total Vacancies: 43 Posts

Reservation as per government rules:

• SC: 15%
• ST: 7.5%
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 7%
• PwBD: 4%
• EWS: 10%
• Ex-Servicemen: 10%

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly salary: Rs. 30,000 (fixed CTC)
• Daily Allowance: Rs. 350 per day for on-board train duty
• Lodging allowance: Rs. 240 per night at outstation
• Night Halt Allowance as per IRCTC policy
• Medical Insurance as per IRCTC policy

• Monitor and check the quality of food and catering services on trains
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in pantry cars and catering areas

• Prepare and submit daily reports on catering services and passenger feedback
• Follow IRCTC guidelines and standard operating procedures during duty
• Travel on assigned train routes as part of regular duty
