Post-wise Duties

Superintending Engineer

You will lead campus civil and electrical works, including planning, contracts, public-health systems and major infrastructure execution.

Senior Technical Officer

You will guide the design, integration and maintenance of ERP, web and institutional information systems, with attention to architecture and security.

Assistant Registrar

You will supervise administrative, academic, finance, audit, legal, establishment or purchase work assigned by the Institute.

Counsellor

You will provide clinical and counselling support to students and employees and help manage the campus counselling service.

Security Officer

You will coordinate campus security, emergency response and liaison with public authorities and service teams.

Hindi Translator

You will translate official and technical material between Hindi and English and support Hindi-language software work.

Junior Technical Superintendent - CSE

You will support computing laboratories, Linux systems, networks, servers and development tools used by the department.

Junior Technical Superintendent - Network Security

You will monitor firewalls, VPNs, access controls, vulnerabilities and network incidents across the Computer Centre.

Junior Technician - Chemical Engineering

You will operate and support Chemical Engineering laboratory equipment and practical work under departmental procedures.

Junior Technician - Systems

You will handle software installation, systems support, websites and laboratory upkeep for Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Junior Technician - CSE

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Probation: Direct recruits serve a one-year probation period, which the Institute may extend under its norms.
• Shortlisting: Meeting the minimum conditions does not guarantee a test or interview; IIT Tirupati may shortlist using stronger qualifications, performance or relevant experience.
• Work assignment: Selected staff may be assigned duties inside or outside the Institute and may be moved between positions, offices or departments when required.
• Benefits: Retirement or terminal benefits follow Government of India and Institute rules adopted from time to time.
• Medical fitness: Appointment remains subject to the Institute's medical-fitness standards.
• Communication: Recruitment updates, schedules and document requirements will be sent by email and placed on the Institute's recruitment portal.
• No TA/DA: The Institute does not pay travel costs for screening tests, although final-stage or interview travel may be reimbursed under its norms.
• Deputation tenure: The Superintending Engineer deputation begins for three years and may extend up to five years, subject to approval and performance.
