Service Conditions and Caveats

• Working schedule: Normal duty runs from Monday to Saturday during institute working hours. The selected counsellor must also remain available on call around the clock when a student emergency or campus need arises, including on weekly offs and holidays.
• Leave: The engagement allows 8 days of casual leave in a calendar year. Unused leave is neither carried forward nor paid out if the contract ends or is extended.
• Performance and termination: IIT Patna may end the engagement if the work is not satisfactory and also reserves the right to discontinue the service without notice. You will need to follow all institute rules while working on campus.
• Travel and disputes: The institute will not reimburse travel for joining or attending the interview. Any dispute connected with the assignment falls under Patna jurisdiction.
