Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Berhampur (IISER Berhampur) is engaging a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. The fellowship is institute-funded and will work under Dr Sangita Das in applied probability, order statistics, reliability theory and survival analysis. It is designed for an early-career researcher who wants to build an independent mathematical research profile while collaborating closely with a faculty mentor.

The role is based at IISER Berhampur's Odisha campus, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. • Interview mode: Shortlisted candidates will attend the interview online through Google Meet. The institute will communicate the schedule later by email or phone.
• Recommendations: You need to arrange two recommendation letters to the stated departmental email address. Plan this early so your referees can send them without delay.
• Institute norms: Fellowship payment follows Government of India institute norms; the advertisement does not quote a fixed monthly figure.
