IBPS Server Administrator Recruitment 2026: Overview

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is recruiting a Server Administrator for its own office in Mumbai through direct recruitment on a regular basis. The position belongs to its internal system administration team, covering the server and network environment used by the institute.

The notice stresses hands-on system administration as the focus of this appointment. Its scope goes beyond checking system health, and software development alone does not reflect the work described for this post.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Probation: You will serve a one-year probation period from joining. Confirmation depends on satisfactory completion and the other requirements under IBPS staff rules.
• Service bond: On joining, you must execute a bond for Rs. 1,00,000 and serve for at least 2 years. Leaving earlier means paying that amount to IBPS; loss-of-pay days may extend the bond period.
• Mumbai posting: The selected person will work in Mumbai only. You must arrange your own accommodation, as IBPS does not provide housing.
• Local preference: Applicants living in Mumbai’s western suburbs receive preference. Consider the stated office location when assessing your ability to attend work.
• Commitment: The notice calls for full 24x7 commitment to the institute. Consider this condition alongside the technical scope of the role.
• Waiting list: IBPS may maintain a waiting list for six months to meet later needs. A place in the process does not guarantee an appointment.
• Travel and stay: You must cover your own travel, boarding and accommodation for the walk-in. IBPS will not reimburse these expenses.
• Conduct and accuracy: False information, canvassing or unfair practices can lead to disqualification. Information discovered to be incorrect after appointment can also affect continued employment.

The venue is IBPS House, 90 Ft DP Road, Behind Thakur Polytechnic, Off. W E Highway, Kandivali East, Mumbai 400101. Reporting and registration run from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and late arrivals cannot take part.

Use the prescribed application format in Annexure I for this walk-in. IBPS accepts only the latest complete, valid application if you submit more than one, and repeated appearances can cancel your candidature.

Plan for the whole day: the process may run until the evening or continue the next day, depending on attendance. This possibility matters if you are travelling from outside Mumbai and need to arrange your return journey.

Your signature must remain consistent across the form and later correspondence. The institute does not accept later requests to change the details entered in the submitted application, so check them carefully before handing it over.
