Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial service: you will work on fixed pay for the first five years. On satisfactory completion, you may move to the regular basic pay then in force for the Helper cadre under GSRTC rules.
• Place of work: GSRTC may post you to any department or depot according to operational need. You should be ready to work wherever the corporation assigns you within Gujarat rather than expecting your home district.
• Trade alignment: an apprenticeship helps only when it is in the same ITI trade entered as your qualifying trade. A certificate from a different trade will not receive the stated preference.
• Apprenticeship proof: the NCVT certificate and mark sheet must be available at document checking if you claim the related benefit. Without the matching proof, GSRTC will not award that component.
• Computer proof: you must produce acceptable evidence of basic computer knowledge before selection. The notice allows a recognized computer course, a diploma or degree carrying computer study, or school-level study of computer as specified.
• Vision: clear vision is an express condition for this operational support role. Medical or document checks may be used to confirm the information entered in your form.
• Reservation records: if you claim a reserved category, use the valid certificate format and validity period described in the notice. Details entered online must match the original certificate produced later.
• Merit and waiting list: inclusion in a provisional list does not by itself guarantee appointment. GSRTC may verify your eligibility and records before issuing an appointment order, and the notified waiting-list rules will apply.
