GBPUAT's Department of Vegetable Science has released a notification for 1 Seed Production Manager position under the project "Pilot Initiative for Establishing a Resilient Hi-Tech Potato Seed Supply Chain in Uttarakhand" (Project Code 4027), led by Principal Investigator Dr. Dhirendra Singh. This is a project-based fellowship position, initially for six months and extendable as per project requirements, with the overall project running up to March 2029. The post is under the General category, though other category candidates may be considered if reserved-category candidates are not available.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: M.Sc. in Horticulture or Vegetable Science.
• Degree Pattern: A 4-year Bachelor's degree, or a 3-year Bachelor's degree along with NET and M.Sc., is required.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the field of Agriculture.
• Preferred: Papers published in refereed journals with a NAAS rating above 6 are desirable.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fellowship of Rs. 60,000 per month.
• The appointment is initially for six months and may be extended as per project requirements.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done through:

1. Interview: Scheduled for 14 July 2026. No separate interview letter will be issued, and no TA/DA will be paid for attending.

No interim correspondence will be entertained regarding your application status.
