Who Can Apply?

For Engineering & Technology (1 UR post):

• You need a Master's degree in Computer Science / CSE / IT / Bio-Medical Engineering (or M.Tech/M.E. in these fields) with at least 60% marks from a recognized university.
• You must have 3 years of work experience in a recognized university or national-level R&D laboratory.

For Mathematics / Statistics / Computational Sciences (1 OBC-Backlog post):

• You need a Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computational Sciences with at least 60% marks.
• You must have 3 years of relevant work experience in a recognized university or national R&D lab.

For Instrumentation (1 UR post):

• You need a Master's degree in Instrumentation, Physics, Chemistry, or Biological Sciences with at least 60% marks.
• You must have 3 years of relevant work experience in a recognized university or national R&D lab.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 35 years old as on the last date of application.
• Age Relaxation: As per University/UGC/Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates.
• Central/State Government or Public Sector employees with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar cadre can get age relaxation of up to 5 years.
• Candidates with less than 40% disability will not be considered under the PwBD category.
• Note: For the Unreserved (UR) posts, no age relaxation applies to any category — selection is based on merit only. Age limit does not apply to existing CURAJ employees.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month under Pay Level 6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
• You will also get DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Central Government/UGC rules.
• You will be covered under the National Pension System (NPS) of the Government of India.

Selection Process

The University may conduct the following stages to shortlist candidates:

1. Written Test / Trade Test / Computer Test: Conducted at the University's discretion as per Cadre Recruitment Rules (Non-Teaching), 2018. The exact pattern is not specified in the notification.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a test/interview at their own expense.
3. Document Verification: You must bring all original certificates for verification.
4. Reserve Panel: The University may draw up a waiting list valid for one year from the date of selection, to be used for future vacancies.

Outside candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories will be reimbursed second-class rail fare or ordinary bus fare (by shortest route) if called for interview.
