Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET), a scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is building a project team in Pune and Hyderabad. The work supports Organic and Inorganic Materials based Optical Quantum Technology (OIMO-QT), a project focused on scaling up technology and developing its manufacturing supply chain in India. Post-wise Duties

Research Associate/Project Scientist

You will contribute to materials, photonic and quantum-device research. The project's work includes characterising optical behaviour, improving processes and moving designs towards prototypes and technology demonstrations.

Junior Research Fellow/Project Associate

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial term: The appointment starts with a one-year term. It may be extended until the project ends, up to 5 August 2030.
• JRF conversion: If NET/GATE-qualified applicants are unavailable, the JRF positions may become Project Associate positions. These are alternative appointments against the same openings.
• Regular appointment: Completing a project appointment gives you no right to absorption into a regular post or to another contract after the project ends.
• Interview travel: C-MET will not reimburse travel or daily expenses for attending the interview.
• Communication: Write a clear email address and mobile number on your form. C-MET will use the email address for communication and publish shortlists and outcomes on its website.
• Conduct: False declarations or hidden information can lead to cancellation or termination. Attempts to influence the decision can disqualify you.
