CHC Tarbha Part Time Yoga Teacher Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Office of the Superintendent, Community Health Centre (CHC) Tarbha in Subarnapur district of Odisha is empanelling part-time yoga teachers for the Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) that run under this block. Each mandir gets its own empanelled teacher, and the notice attaches the list of mandirs as Annexure-I. This is an empanelment on a per-session basis, not a salaried post — the health centre draws teachers from the panel as the yoga sessions at its wellness centres are scheduled. Trained yoga postgraduates and diploma holders come first, and local candidates who have finished a 140-hour institutional yoga course are taken only when no trained candidate turns up.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of engagement: The position is purely temporary. Empanelment does not create a government post, and CHC Tarbha keeps the right to cancel any or all applications and positions at any stage without giving a reason.
• Session plan: You take two sessions a week for the mandir you are attached to — one fixed session at the AAM headquarters and one in the peripheral villages it covers.
• Timing: Each session runs for 90 minutes, and the health centre prefers the early morning slot between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM.
• Turnout: A session counts only when at least ten people join it.
• Coordination: You hand in your session plan in advance to the Community Health Officer at the sub-centre mandir and to the AYUSH Medical Officer at the PHC mandir.
• Payment basis: You are paid for the work you actually do, and the payment is released after you produce the documents that support it.
• Canvassing: Canvassing in any form disqualifies you.
• Local candidates: The Option-2 route opens only when nobody with the yoga degree, diploma or certificate course is available for a mandir.

Registration is open only from 10:30 AM to 12:00 noon on the walk-in day, and the office takes no application after that window closes. The shortlist is finalised the same day by 3:00 PM, and the assessment of the shortlisted candidates starts from 3:00 PM onwards at a time the health centre fixes.
