The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is building a panel of advocates to work as Special Public Prosecutors at Lucknow. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Panel engagement: CBI is creating a panel of advocates, so your name goes on a list from which the agency engages you as a Special Public Prosecutor — it is not a regular appointment in the CBI cadre.
• Period: The engagement runs for a minimum of three years.
• Where you work: You have to stay stationed at the place where the court sits, which for this notice is the court of the Special Judge, CBI, Lucknow.
• Travel: CBI pays no travelling allowance and reimburses no travel expense for attending the court.
• Consent to terms: You must give an unconditional written willingness to work on the general terms and conditions that the Government of India approves from time to time.
• Professional fee: Your fee is governed by the terms in DoPT File No. 225/19/2023-AVD-II, a copy of which CBI has attached to the notice.
• Shortlisting: Only shortlisted advocates are called by CBI for an interaction, and the panel is drawn from the people who clear it.
