Candidates with graduation in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics can apply online. Last date to apply is 26 February 2026. Age limit is 21 to 37 years for General Male candidates. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released an official notification (Advertisement No. 09/2026) to fill 102 Auditor (Ankekshak) posts in the Panchayati Raj Vibhag, Government of Bihar. Out of these, 28 are regular vacancies and 74 are backlog vacancies.

Selection Process

The selection will happen in three stages. There is no interview for this post.

  1. Preliminary Exam (MCQ): 150 marks, 2 hours, with negative marking
  2. Main Exam: Total 1,000 marks
    • Paper 1 - Hindi: 100 marks
    • Paper 2 & 3 - General Studies: 300 marks each (total 600 marks)
    • Paper 4 - Optional Subject: 300 marks
  3. Document Verification

Note: Hindi proficiency will be tested in Paper 1 of Mains. You also need to score minimum qualifying marks in Hindi in the Prelims exam.
