Bengaluru Rural DC Typist Copyist Recruitment 2026: Overview
Principal District and Sessions Court, Bengaluru Rural District is recruiting Typist-Copyists for its district court unit in Karnataka. This is a regular direct recruitment under the Karnataka Subordinate Courts recruitment rules. The notice identifies the recruiting office at the City Civil Courts Complex in Bengaluru and sets out a probation period with service-related tests after appointment.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Probation: If selected, you will serve a two-year probation under the Karnataka probation rules. During this period, you must pass the prescribed departmental, Kannada-language and computer-literacy tests.
- Pension: Appointees come under the National Pension System (NPS). This is an explicit service condition in the notice.
- Court proceedings: The notification and appointments remain subject to the Karnataka High Court’s final decisions in writ petitions 200448/2025 connected with 17968/2025, and 3145/2023.
- SC Category C reservation: The designated reservation gives priority to the specified most-backward castes within this category. Other Category C candidates may be considered if candidates from that group are unavailable, under the cited government order.

- Downloaded admission letter and one original photo ID: voter ID, Aadhaar, driving licence, PAN or passport
- Junior-grade Kannada and English typing certificates or equivalent qualification records
- Recent colour passport photograph with white background, unsigned, JPG up to 50 KB
- Signature in black ballpoint pen on white paper, JPG up to 25 KB
