AIIMS Kalyani PTS III Recruitment 2026: Overview
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Kalyani is hiring a Project Technician Support-III (PTS-III) for its Psychiatry Department in West Bengal. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funds the EMBRACE-ASD project, which studies fecal microbiota transplantation through SwasthyaBiome for behavioural symptoms in children with autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Kumari Rina leads this multicentre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial as principal investigator.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project employment: You will work under the ICMR project. The appointment does not make you a direct employee of AIIMS Kalyani or give you a right to a permanent institute post.
- Tenure: The initial contract lasts six months, ends sooner if the project finishes, and follows ICMR directions. Any renewal depends on the principal investigator or the competent authority.
- Contract ending: Project completion or withdrawal of funding can end the engagement. Either side can end the contract with 30 days’ notice or salary instead of notice.
- Work commitment: This is a full-time appointment. Private practice is prohibited, and you must follow the institute’s conduct and discipline rules.
- Accommodation and leave: The institute will not provide a hostel or other accommodation. Leave follows the applicable ICMR and AIIMS Kalyani policy.
- Travel: You must arrange your own travel for the interview. The institute will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending.
- Application accuracy: False statements or withheld information can lead to removal, even after selection. Canvassing also leads to disqualification.
- Recruitment decisions: Screening and selection remain with the institute’s committees. The competent authority may amend or cancel the recruitment, and disputes fall under Kolkata courts.
