All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur is filling Project Nurse III and Project Technical Support III roles in its Department of Neonatology. Both positions support an ICMR-funded multicentre trial studying whether a point-of-care automated blood-culture system can reduce antibiotic use in the neonatal intensive care unit. This is clinical project work inside a specialist newborn-care setting, so accuracy, patient safety and dependable research records matter every day.

The team is led by the Principal Investigator in Neonatology and combines bedside coordination with research-data support. The appointments are purely temporary and tied to the project; they do not create a right to a regular AIIMS Jodhpur post. If you are comfortable with hospital workflows, clinical documentation and flexible shifts, the project offers direct exposure to a multicentre neonatal research study.

Posts and Disciplines

• Project Nurse III: a neonatal clinical-support role covering NICU care, sample handling, aseptic work and trial documentation. State or Indian Nursing Council registration is compulsory.
• Project Technical Support III: a research and technical role for laboratory, microbiology, engineering, IT or computer-science backgrounds, with emphasis on clinical data and electronic records.

Post-wise Duties

Project Nurse III

You will support neonatal care activities, follow safe sample-collection procedures and keep clear clinical-trial records. The work can include rotational shifts, nights, weekends and holidays according to the project's needs.

Project Technical Support III

You will help the research team manage study information, maintain electronic records and data sheets, and support technical coordination between the clinical and research sides of the project. Familiarity with tools such as MS Excel or REDCap is useful for this role.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The initial appointment is for six months. Further extension depends on project need, available funds and performance appraisal.
• Project status: The posts end with the project and carry no claim to permanent employment or continuation in another AIIMS project.
• Shift work: Selected staff must be ready for flexible hours, rotational shifts, night duty, weekends and holidays.
• Experience check: Only work completed after the minimum qualification will count, and valid certificates must support it.
• Government employees: Anyone already serving in government or a public-sector undertaking must bring a No Objection Certificate.
• Interview travel: AIIMS Jodhpur will not pay TA or DA for attending the walk-in process.

This is a walk-in recruitment at the Model Early Intervention Centre, Second Floor, OPD Building, AIIMS Jodhpur, Basni Phase II, Jodhpur 342005. Each post has its own interview day, and reporting is open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM; late arrivals will not be considered.
