AIIMS New Delhi has released a notification for 1 Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) post in the Department of Emergency Medicine. The position is attached to an ICMR-funded project titled "Prospective, Open-label, Single Arm, Interventional, Single-Centre, Pilot Study to Evaluate the Safety and Effectiveness of Ozyn-D, a Novel Intraosseous Device for Delivery of Medications and Fluids." You will work under Principal Investigator Dr. Prakash Ranjan Mishra, Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. There is no written exam for this post — only shortlisted candidates are called for an interview. Candidates with research or work experience in emergency medicine/care are preferred, and immediate joining is expected from the selected candidate.

An intraosseous (IO) device is used to deliver fluids and medications directly into the bone marrow when normal intravenous access is difficult to establish, especially in emergency and trauma situations. This pilot study will evaluate how safe and effective the indigenous Ozyn-D device is for such use, and as Project Research Scientist II you will play a direct role in supporting this ICMR-funded clinical research. Working in the Department of Emergency Medicine at AIIMS, New Delhi gives you the opportunity to be part of one of the busiest and most reputed emergency care units in the country, with exposure to real clinical trial coordination, patient data management and research documentation.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: First class Postgraduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) with 3 years of relevant experience, or a PhD.
• Alternative Qualification: Second class Postgraduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees), along with a PhD and 3 years of experience.
• Preferred: Research and/or work experience in the field of emergency medicine/care.

If your qualifying degree is a second class Postgraduate Degree, you must also hold a PhD along with the required 3 years of experience — this is treated as an alternate route to the same post. Candidates who have completed their final examinations but are still awaiting results are not eligible to apply at this time.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 40 years old to apply for this post.

Salary

• Salary will be paid as per ICMR, New Delhi norms for the Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) position — the exact amount is not mentioned in the notification.
