TN Prisons Male Nursing Assistant Recruitment 2026

TN Prisons Male Nursing Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

Coimbatore Central Prison, under the Tamil Nadu Prisons and Correctional Services Department, is recruiting a Male Nursing Assistant for the prison at Coimbatore. The superintendent has issued a separate notice for this role, with applications sent directly to the prison by post.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Community roster: The post falls under the Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities (MBC/DNC) roster. Check this condition carefully when deciding whether to apply.
• Receipt condition: Your application must arrive at the prison within the stated application window. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
• Further communication: The prison will contact applicants who meet the requirements by post.

Application Submission Notes

Send your application by post to the Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison, Coimbatore-18. This is the receiving authority named in the notice, so address your postal cover to that office.

Delivery time matters: the notice sets a deadline for receipt at the prison, rather than merely posting the application. Allow enough time for the application to reach the office; the notice explicitly rules out consideration of late arrivals.
