Selection Process
For Project Assistant, selection involves a written test, computer skills evaluation, and interview -- all on the same day. For Project Associate-I, you will face a written test followed by an interview. The Field Assistant position is filled through a walk-in interview only. Make sure you carry all original certificates along with self-attested photocopies when you attend.
Walk-in Venues
Project Assistant & Project Associate-I: Department of Animal Nutrition, Veterinary College and Research Institute (VCRI), Mohanur Road, Namakkal -- 637 002, Tamil Nadu.
Field Assistant: College of Poultry Production and Management (CPPM), Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Note: The actual work location will be in beneficiary fields across Tirupathur district.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research activities under the assigned project at the Department of Animal Nutrition
- Collect and analyze data related to animal nutrition and feed technology
- Observe and record production and reproduction performance data of germplasm supplied under field conditions (Field Assistant)
- Assist principal investigators with laboratory experiments and field trials
- Prepare periodic progress reports on project activities
- Coordinate with tribal farmers for livestock farming activities in Tirupathur district (Field Assistant)
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Graduation in Veterinary Sciences / Agricultural Sciences / Biology / Chemistry or related disciplines (Project Assistant); Master's degree or B.Tech with 55% marks (Project Associate-I); B.Tech in Poultry Technology (Field Assistant)
Preferred Qualification
NET/GATE qualified candidates preferred for Project Associate-I; Experience in poultry management and technology desirable for Field Assistant
Required Skills
Research aptitude, data collection and analysis, computer skills
Age Limit
21 - 45 years
Age Relaxation:
