SIDBI Project Manager and Coordinator Recruitment 2026: Overview

Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is hiring full-time consultants for its Green Climate Finance Vertical (GCFV), with work based in New Delhi and/or Mumbai. The team supports cleaner and more sustainable operations among micro, small and medium enterprises. These roles support the FMAP Programme, connecting climate-finance plans with practical delivery through partner institutions.

Posts and Disciplines

  • Project Manager: Lead programme implementation and oversight, linking SIDBI's objectives with the requirements of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and participating institutions.
  • Project Coordinator: Support daily programme operations, communication, records and follow-up across SIDBI teams, consultants and partner organisations.

Post-wise Duties

Project Manager

You will turn approved programme plans into activities, track milestones and help shape projects for climate mitigation and adaptation finance. The role also involves partner engagement, capacity building and oversight of environmental and social safeguards. You will monitor results against programme goals and help prepare proposals for reviews or changes to the programme.

Project Coordinator

You will keep day-to-day coordination moving by arranging meetings, following up on agreed actions and collecting progress updates. You will also help partner financial institutions identify suitable portfolios, support technical-assistance activities and keep programme databases and records ready for reporting. This role connects the programme's plans with the teams carrying them out.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Contract duration: The initial engagement lasts 3 years, subject to annual performance review. Satisfactory performance may lead to annual extensions for a further 1+1 years, up to 5 years in total.
  • Work location: You may work from SIDBI's New Delhi and/or Mumbai office and make regular visits to stakeholders. SIDBI can transfer you to another location in India.
  • Notice period: Resignation needs at least 3 months' notice during the first year and 2 months thereafter. SIDBI may end the contract with 1 month's notice.
  • Service bond: You must agree to serve for at least 1 year. Leaving earlier can mean paying an amount equal to 3 months' gross pay, subject to the notice-period condition stated in the notice.
  • Continuing engagement: Renewal depends on your performance and the bank's project needs. You will sign an agreement governing your services, and the bank may change or cancel the recruitment exercise.
  • Interview travel: You must meet your own attendance expenses. The notice does not provide reimbursement for attending the interview.
  • Updates: Check SIDBI's careers section for clarifications or changes because the bank will not send each applicant a separate update.
