PGIMS Rohtak Ayushman Mitra Recruitment 2026: Overview

Pt. B.D. Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak, working with the University of Health Sciences Rohtak, is hiring Ayushman Mitras for its hospital under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) – Ayushman Bharat. The scheme runs under the National Health Agency, New Delhi, and is sponsored in Haryana by the CEO, AB-HHPA, Panchkula. Ayushman Mitras are the help-desk face of the scheme: they guide card-holding patients through registration and make sure their treatment claims are processed.

These are temporary contractual positions. Apart from the fixed monthly honorarium, you also earn a small commission for every claim you complete, including verifying the beneficiary and saving the record as a golden record. You must already have finished the official Ayushman Mitra training course and passed its exam or certification, so this drive is best suited to graduates who hold that certificate and are comfortable with computers and typing.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The engagement is on a contract basis of 89 days, and your work and conduct are reviewed every month.
• Preference for women: Female candidates will be given preference for the Ayushman Mitra position, and qualified ASHA workers may also get preference.
• Experience counts: Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.
• Reserved seats: The posts are split across Haryana's reservation categories, including seats for ex-servicemen, sports persons and persons with disabilities.
• Possible test: If too many candidates apply, a test may be held in addition to the interview.
• No travel allowance: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview or test.
• Complete forms only: An incomplete application form is rejected straight away, and any false information cancels your candidature or appointment.
• Language: You should speak Hindi or English and the local language fluently.
