NIT Silchar Project Associate I Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Institute of Technology Silchar (NIT Silchar) is hiring a Project Associate I for an electronics research project in its Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Assam. The project, supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, focuses on a non-invasive system that detects seizures with low power use and little delay. It brings signal processing, machine learning and hardware implementation together around an electroencephalogram (EEG), which records electrical activity in the brain. You would join a project-based engagement under Dr. Koushik Guha and Prof. K. L. Baishnab, with real-time detection as the central research goal.
