National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT Andhra Pradesh), located at Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district, has issued Notification No. NITANP/ODFA/2026-27/435 for the engagement of Ad-hoc Faculty in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for AY 2026-27. There is no separate written exam — selection is entirely through a walk-in lecture demonstration and interview held on the same day. The engagement is purely temporary and will end on or before 31 May 2027.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: First Class in B.Tech./B.E. in CSE, ECE, EE, EEE or a relevant/allied branch of Engineering, AND a relevant M.Tech./M.E. (or equivalent) in Computer Science and Engineering or a relevant/allied branch.
• Alternate qualification: A Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a relevant/equivalent discipline.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 70,000 per month if you hold a Ph.D. qualification.
• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 55,000 per month if you hold an M.Tech or equivalent qualification.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in a single day through:

1. Lecture Demonstration: An offline teaching demonstration in front of the Selection Committee.
2. Interview: An offline interview conducted the same day. The decision of the Selection Committee is final.

2. Report to NIT Andhra Pradesh, Tadepalligudem, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh on 26 July 2026 at 10:00 AM.
3. Bring the completed application form along with all original documents.
4. Attend the walk-in venue: 4th Floor, Room No. 411, Director's Conference Hall, SVP Central Vista, NIT Andhra Pradesh.
5. Complete the lecture demonstration and interview on the same day.

Other Important Terms

• This is a purely temporary engagement — it will end on or before 31 May 2027 and does not lead to a regular NIT appointment.
• Either side can end the contract early by giving at least 30 days' notice.
• Candidates attending the interview may get accommodation at the Institute Guest House or Hostel, subject to availability and on a payment basis.
• Food facility is available at the Guest House or Hostel Mess on a payment basis during your stay.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
