MPKV, Rahuri has released a notification for 3 teaching posts at Yashwantrao Chavan Govt. College of Agriculture, Karad, Dist. Satara — 1 Assistant Professor of Agronomy, 1 Assistant Professor of Entomology, and 1 Physical Training Instructor (PTI). These are purely temporary and contractual positions for 11 months for day-to-day academic work at the college. Candidates with a Ph.D. or Master's degree qualified with NET/SLET/SET, along with research/teaching experience and published papers, are preferred for the Agronomy and Entomology posts.

Who Can Apply?

For Assistant Professor (Agronomy & Entomology):

• Qualification: Ph.D. or Master's degree in the relevant subject with NET/SLET/SET (as prescribed by UGC/ICAR)
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Research/Teaching/Extension Education
• Publications: Minimum 2 published papers in recognized journals with an ISSN number (short notes/communications not counted)
• Master's degree holders without Ph.D./NET can also apply, but their fixed pay will be reduced to Rs. 25,000 per month.

For Physical Training Instructor (PTI):

• Qualification: Ph.D. or Master's degree with NET/SET/SLET in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.)

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed pay of Rs. 45,000 per month for 11 months from the date of appointment.
• Candidates with a Master's degree but without a Ph.D./NET can still apply, but their fixed pay will be reduced to Rs. 25,000 per month.

Application Fee

• You need to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500 while applying.
• Payment mode: Online transfer to the "Comptroller, MPKV, Rahuri" account (A/c No. 33523908638, State Bank of India, Karad Branch, IFSC: SBIN0004648). Attach the receipt with your application.
• You also need to submit a Rs. 100 bond paper undertaking accepting the terms and conditions.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in a single stage:

1. Interview: Eligible candidates will be interviewed by a Selection Committee approved by the university. You must attend the interview at your own cost and bring all original documents for verification — your candidature will be rejected if you cannot produce them.
