Munitions India Limited (MIL) Hindi Officer Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
Munitions India Limited (MIL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has released a detailed advertisement to fill 1 Hindi Officer post at its Corporate Office in Pune on a contract basis. The initial contract is for 2 years, and it can be extended on a yearly basis until you reach 65 years of age. Only retired personnel from the Ordnance Factory Board, MIL, the Army, Navy, Air Force, paramilitary forces, DGQA, DGAQA, DGNAI and DRDO can apply — this is not a fresh-graduate recruitment. As Hindi Officer, you will monitor and implement Rajbhasha (Official Language) policy, translate the company website and documents into Hindi, conduct Hindi workshops, and help prepare for official language inspections carried out by Parliamentary committees and the Ministry.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: Master's degree with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects at the degree level (in one of several specified combinations), along with a recognized diploma or certificate course in Hindi-English translation, OR at least 2 years of experience translating Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central/State Government office (including PSUs).
- Background: You must be a retired employee of the Ordnance Factory Board, Munitions India Limited, Army, Navy, Air Force, paramilitary forces, DGQA, DGAQA, DGNAI or DRDO who has reached superannuation age or completed your service tenure.
- Experience: You should have either retired from the post of Hindi Officer, OR have at least 3 years of experience as a Senior Hindi Translator, OR at least 5 years as a Junior Hindi Translator.
- Performance Record: Your APAR grading for the last 3 years of service must be "Very Good" (Outstanding).
Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for this post is 65 years.
- The contract can be extended on a yearly basis until you turn 65.
Salary
- You will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 60,000 per month (estimated), based on the Government of India's Office Memorandum F.No. 3-25/2020-E.III.A dated 09 December 2020.
- As a contract employee, you will not be entitled to overtime allowance, medical facilities, loans/advances, or other benefits given to regular staff.
