Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is hiring Project Scientists for a C-DOT-backed project at the Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, working with the Department of Electrical Engineering. The project is building a generative AI-enhanced customer-support chatbot for disaster early warning and emergency communication, so the role sits at the meeting point of applied AI, public-safety communication and user-facing software. You would join Prof. Brejesh Lall's team and work with language models rather than on a purely academic study.

The project is scheduled to continue up to 30 October 2028, although each appointment is contractual and linked to the project's life. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: The appointment is made on a contractual basis and may be renewed yearly or continued only up to the end of the project, whichever comes first.
• Shortlisting: IIT Delhi may set a higher benchmark when many people meet the advertised minimum. Meeting the basic qualification does not guarantee an interview call.

• Marks relaxation: Applicants from SC and ST categories may receive a five-per-cent relaxation in marks.
