Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai (IIT Bhilai) is hiring a Project Consultant for IEC and communication for its Climate and Energy project with UNICEF. The work connects technical and public-sector teams with communities through clear campaigns, useful content and programme outreach. The project is led through IIT Bhilai's Department of Computer Science and Engineering, while the consultant will work from a government office in Raipur. You will coordinate with senior officials, institutional partners and development stakeholders rather than remaining in a campus-only role. Strong English and Hindi communication, sound judgement on public messaging and the ability to handle several content formats are central to the assignment.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The initial engagement is for one year or until the project ends, whichever comes first. An extension depends on the project's need and your performance.
• Work location: You will be stationed at the Office of the Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, or the Deputy Chief Minister's Office in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
• Contract terms: The appointment follows the conditions set by IIT Bhilai and the funding agency for this project.
• Shortlisting: If the response is large, the committee may limit the interview pool after reviewing profiles against the project's needs.
• Exceptional profiles: The committee may relax an essential requirement when a candidate has unusually strong and directly relevant project experience.
• Travel for interview: No TA or DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Early termination: The fellowship may be ended with 30 days' notice when performance is found unsatisfactory.
