Who Can Apply?

For Professor Posts (Rs. 1,84,000/month):

• Qualification: A recognised PG medical degree (MD / MS / DNB) in the relevant subject as per NMC rules.
• Experience: At least 3 years as an Associate Professor in a recognised medical college.
• Research: At least four research publications, with at least two as an Associate Professor.

For Associate Professor Posts (Rs. 1,70,000/month):

• Qualification: A recognised PG medical degree (MD / MS / DNB) in the relevant subject as per NMC rules.
• Experience: At least 4 years as an Assistant Professor in a recognised medical college.
• Research: At least two research publications.

• Domicile: You must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Maharashtra.
• Extra courses: You must have completed the NMC basic course in Medical Education Technology and the basic course in Biomedical Research.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 69 years old at the time of appointment.

Salary

• Professor: Rs. 1,84,000 per month (consolidated)
• Associate Professor: Rs. 1,70,000 per month (consolidated)
• Retired teachers appointed on contract will be paid as per Maharashtra government rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam. Selection is based on a walk-in interview:

1. Merit List (Appendix-A): A merit list is prepared based on your qualifications and marks.
2. Document Verification: Your original certificates and experience proofs are checked.
3. Interview: You must score at least 41% in the combined document verification and interview to be selected.

2. Fill in the form and attach self-attested copies of all required certificates.
3. Submit the application by hand or by registered post to the office of the Dean, Government Medical College, Jalgaon.
4. Applications are accepted from 6 July 2026 to 21 July 2026, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM on working days.
5. Bring your original documents for the interview at the college's Parishad Hall.
