These posts are purely temporary and on a contract basis for 364 days and are being filled through a selection committee at the institute level. Who Can Apply?

You must have the educational qualification and experience as per National Medical Commission (NMC) norms for the subject you are applying to:

• Qualification: An MD/MS in the concerned subject, OR an MBBS with M.Sc/Ph.D (Medical) in the relevant pre/para-clinical subject, OR a DNB in the concerned subject.
• Experience: At least 1 year as a Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognised medical college after your MD/MS. Alternatively, 3 years as a Junior Resident plus 1 year as a Senior Resident in the subject.
• For DNB holders: Your DNB must be equated to MD/MS under clause 4A of Schedule-I, with an additional 3 years of teaching experience as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor during or after DNB, plus 1 year as Senior Resident.

Doctors who have completed their PG bond (bandhpatrit) service will be given preference during selection.

Age Limit

• Your age should not be more than 40 years for unreserved candidates.
• Age Relaxation: Candidates from backward classes (Magasvargiya) get a relaxation of 5 years, so the upper age limit for them is 45 years.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed consolidated honorarium of Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
• This amount is paid from the sanctioned grant of the college and is fixed for the full 364-day contract period.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam. Selection is done through an interview by the selection committee:

1. Merit / Academic Screening: Candidates are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in their qualifying examinations.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates must appear before the selection committee at GMC Jalgaon on 28 July 2026 at 11:00 AM with all original documents and attested copies.
3. Document Verification: Your original certificates are checked at the time of the interview.

You must attend the interview at your own expense. If you do not attend, you will not be considered for appointment. Doctors who have completed their PG bond service get preference.
