Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is inviting Guest Faculty applications at its University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) for the odd semester of the 2026-27 academic session (August to December 2026). If you meet the UGC norms for Assistant Professor or have relevant law teaching/practice experience, you can apply by email or walk-in. GGSIPU USLLS Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026

The University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) at GGSIPU, Dwarka, New Delhi, needs guest faculty across around 20 subjects and papers from its BBA-LLB, LLB, and LLM programmes. Subjects include Principles of Management, Code of Civil Procedure, ADR (Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation), Election Laws, Legal Ethics & Court Crafts, Drafting Pleading & Conveyancing, Entrepreneurship Development, and the Evolution & Concept of ADR paper for LLM students. Practicing Advocates and visiting faculty are preferred for most subjects. GGSIPU is a state university in Delhi that runs professional programmes in law, engineering, management, and other disciplines, and USLLS is its dedicated law school offering BBA-LLB, LLB, and LLM courses.

Who Can Apply?

For Most Subjects:

• You need to meet the UGC Norms for Assistant Professor — the same qualification required for a regularly appointed Assistant Professor.
• Practicing Advocates and visiting faculty are preferred.

For Legal Ethics & Court Crafts and Drafting, Pleading & Conveyancing:

• An LLB degree with good experience as a Practicing Advocate will be preferred.

For LLM Papers:

• Candidates with a Ph.D. degree will be preferred.

Selection Process

Selection is based on a single interview round:

1. Interview: You need to appear before the selection committee with your CV on 23 July 2026, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, at Room No. 413, C-Block, USLLS, GGSIPU, Sector 16C, Dwarka, New Delhi.

Carry your latest CV, original documents, published research papers/book chapters, and self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents. Shortlisted candidates will be paid as per the university's revised guest faculty remuneration norms. This is a good opportunity if you want teaching experience at a reputed law school while you continue your legal practice, research, or higher studies alongside.
