DCPU Kaimur Support Person Recruitment 2026: Overview

District Child Protection Unit, Kaimur (Bhabhua) is creating a panel of Support Persons under Section 39 of the POCSO Act 2012 and the POCSO Rules 2020. The panel will help children and families move through child-protection and court processes with consistent information, practical support and links to local services. This is district-level empanelment connected to individual cases, not a regular civil-service appointment.

The work sits between child welfare, counselling and the justice system. A Support Person may become a child’s steady point of contact while police, the Special Court, legal-service bodies and welfare agencies handle different parts of a case. You should be comfortable communicating sensitively with children, protecting private information and keeping clear records without adding pressure to the child or family.

The District Child Protection Unit will use the panel when support is needed in notified cases. Local knowledge of Kaimur and its public-service network can help you coordinate referrals and follow-up, while professional boundaries remain important throughout the assignment.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Residence: Only permanent residents of Kaimur district can apply. Reservation benefits will follow the applicable rules.
  • Panel status: People placed on the panel will not be treated as government employees and cannot claim benefits available to government staff.
  • Regular appointment: Empanelment does not create a right to regularisation in government service.
  • Fresh process: Continued empanelment is not automatic; you will need to take part in a fresh process for the next panel.
  • Character condition: You should have no criminal case registered anywhere in India and should not have been found guilty of misconduct.
  • Work history: You should not have been dismissed or blacklisted by an organisation working in child protection or child development.
  • Original records: If shortlisted, take the originals of all enclosed certificates and experience records to the interview for checking.
  • Cancellation: The authorised officer may cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
