AU Project Assistant CSE Recruitment 2026: Overview
Anna University (AU) is recruiting a Project Assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai. The appointment belongs to a project supported by the Chief Minister’s Research Grant (CMRG), 2024–25, under Professor and Principal Investigator Dr. S. Chitrakala.
The project, Digital Twin and AI-Powered Yoga Assistant System with Real-Time Asana Pose Estimation and Corrective Feedback, brings together digital-twin technology and artificial intelligence for yoga assistance. Its stated focus is recognising asana poses in real time and providing corrective feedback, and the work will take place at the Guindy campus.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project appointment: This is a temporary engagement for the research project. Your initial appointment will be for six months, with further extension linked to your performance.
- Project duration: The notice gives the overall project period as two years. The initial appointment covers only the shorter period stated above.
- Research registration: If selected, you are permitted to register for an MS or PhD programme at Anna University, Chennai.
- Travel expenses: The university will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview. You will need to meet those costs yourself.
