All India Institute of Medical Sciences Rishikesh (AIIMS Rishikesh) is hiring a Project Technical Support-I for the ICMR-funded FLUENT MI study in its Department of Cardiology. The study is a multicentre, randomised and double-blind trial examining whether an influenza vaccine can reduce cardiovascular events after a recent myocardial infarction. This is a temporary research-project appointment under the site principal investigator, so the role is best suited to someone interested in clinical research coordination rather than a regular hospital cadre position.

The person selected will connect the clinical team at Rishikesh with the study's central coordinating site. You will work around participant screening, consent, follow-up and research records while helping the team keep the trial protocol consistent. Clear English, local-language communication and practical Microsoft Office ability matter because the work combines patient contact with online and offline study documentation.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: the initial contract is for one year and may continue for the next year or until the project ends, whichever comes first. Any extension depends on a satisfactory work report from the principal investigator.
• Project appointment: this engagement is not permanent AIIMS employment and does not give you a claim to a regular post at the institute.
• Joining: the selected person must join within five days after the result is declared.
• Performance review: an Employee Performance Indicator applies, and unsatisfactory work can lead to termination without advance notice or compensation.
• Leaving the project: you must give one month's notice. If you serve a shorter notice, you may need to deposit an amount equal to one month's salary before receiving the relieving certificate.
• Experience timing: only experience gained after completing the minimum essential qualification will be considered.
• Interview travel: AIIMS Rishikesh will not pay TA or DA for attending the selection activity.
• Final decision: the recruitment committee may relax or alter terms at its discretion and may leave the position unfilled if it does not find a suitable person.
